then it was time to settle down with Aunt Kelly...

It was a short trip to NY - time flew and I tried to squeeze waaaaay too much in (as usual) and didn't do half of what I wanted to.  Oh well - I try!

I hope to be back with T in April... I'm trying to come twice a year now - he needs to know the Yanks too!

Thank God I am heading to my Ya-Ya trip soon - barely saw my girls...but had a great time with family and the friends I did see.  Just miss everyone so much.

Thanks to everyone for spoiling Tristan... it was awesome to see him love on all of you!!

SEE YA SOON!!!  Love, Holt, Julie and of course, Mr. T!

Almost Famous

Last night we went to see "The Calamari Sisters"

it's about two Italian (VERY Italian) women (VERY MUCH MEN) that have a cooking show and it is HYSTERICAL!!

My Mom went a few weeks ago and told us all about it.  They made her go up on stage, which is hysterical in and of itself..... so we decided to go.

My Sis had a ticket BUT she had an awesome surprise - ZACHARY came home from CT to surprise her!!

So anyway, we met up with them and headed to the show...

THEN...Holt was pulled up on stage - it was greatness!

like his apron??  He stuffed cannoli - it was greatness!   They asked him his ethnicity and he said TEXAN - I thought they were going to fall off the stage!

At intermission we headed out to see the re-lit Genesee Beer sign... you'd have to live here to think that was cool - but it is :)

Here's  Kel and Zach and the teeny tiny sign....

It was a great evening... and we had to head home early so we can get to the Great Race!!

Suprise!!!!!!!!!!

We've been planning a surprise party for Kelly's "Almost" 45th birthday... well, since Feb.

and we GOT HER!

Here she is with her tiara, her wand and her sash and ring...

Kel with Dad

and Auntie T with her friend Marilyn DelloStritto

Mom, and my niece Maddy and her Daddy Pete

My brother-in-law Lee, me and some of the gang

Uncle Johnny and Holt...

Mom n- Kel (with major *BLING*)

she loves me....

more sister fun :)

Uncle Johnny, Aunt jeanne, Uncle Mike and Auntie T

*GRIN*

So we stayed out until about 9:!5pm...then it was time to head home and get T in bed.

We then headed back out to see Poolsie, Jenny and Deb...and meet my sis out.

That didn't last long, we're all old!  so we headed back home.

As we are walking up the deck, Holt said.... "is THAT" your mom?"

IT SURE WAS.................

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ on the computer - hahahahaha

We laughed our butts off, then banged on the window and scared the dickens out of her.  It was awesome!

Happy Almost Your Birthday Sissy!  Love you!!!

WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??? *sigh*

This kid has no fear!!

This kid has no fear and he's a natural athlete...

he saw Lane do a cannon ball...

next thing ya know...

CANNON BALL

then...he decides it would be fun to chuck himself off of the diving board and onto a mat

OH BOY!

Then we finally got to chill out with Aunt Kimmie and Lane...and just kick around on the float

WHEW!  Mommy's heart needed a rest!

But about 2 seconds later, we were back to water gun fights...

of which, as you can see...he's mastered!  SO FOCUSED!

Look out Yankees, if it's warm enough...

Sea Life Grapevine!!

It's so blasted HOT that we have to find things to do...

So off to Sea Life we went!!

We say sting rays swim by...

and T and Daddy were all grins!

awesome aquariums filled with amazing creatures...

Daddy taught the kiddos a lot

Heeeeeeeeere's Davis!

and Grace and T checkin' out the tanks!

Siblings... staring at the fish!

Tristan was scared of glass floors but Gracie taught him that it was still safe to walk on.

Davis wasn't afraid at all!

and sea sossys!!

and of course...LOTS of sharks!

more sting rays...

and then Tristan made a new friend while looking at whale or maybe dinosaur bones in the tanks

Tristan was very interested and loved every second of being there

and finally - FINALLY at the end... they got to touch star fish and crabs and stuff.

SMILES across the board!

I'd say overall, it was a great trip and a great way to beat the heat!!
