We gave him finger paints for Christmas and he's finally ready to use them (or maybe I'm ready to let him!)
he looooooooved this. About 2 hours of playing!

then while he napped, I built that top piece
and Daddy hung it up
I found those cool letter plates at Hobby Lobby
and then tried to dress it up a little
then of course...once Tristan woke it - it ALREADY looked lived in!
